Coming Soon Novels and Novellas

Skeleton- Short Novella 20k ish

Due to be published by Dreamspinner Oct/Nov (edits on this all complete)

Jan has given up on love. Well the romantic kind anyway—he loves his 5 year old son Henry more than anything.
But when Henry starts school, Jan is introduced to Matthew, a very sweet but shy young man who helps out in Henry’s class.
Helplessly, Jan finds himself falling for Matthew—he’s everything Jan needs.
But amid creepy silent phone calls and possible break-ins things starts to slowly fall apart for Jan. And the secret he’s been running from threatens to destroy everything good in his life.

Wild Summer-Novella 34K ish

Due to be Published by Harmony Ink Oct/Nov

Spin off to This is Not a Love Story—this is Crash’s story. (Crash is not a particularly angsty character, so I feel I should give you fair warning that this story has quite a different tone to This is Not a Love Story!)

The saying ‘If you save someone’s life you are responsible for it’ has never made much sense to 15 years old Christopher until he saves Summer’s life. From that moment on he feels a wild bright connection begin between them that he can’t imagine will ever fade. Even when everything shatters for them both one night and they don’t see each other for another four years.
But when Summer’s sister goes missing and his relationship with Ren takes a dangerous turn, can their connection still be brighter and stronger than anything?

This story tells of 15 year old Christopher (Crash’s) meeting with Summer and how their burgeoning relationship falls apart.
When 19 year old Crash briefly glimpses Summer again on the London underground after 4 years of nothing, he can’t handle it and runs to Cornwall to see Romeo to try and sort his feelings out. But eventually he realizes he must find Summer- this time he can’t run, this time he must help him.

Innocence- Novel 74K

Due to be published by Dreamspinner Feb/March 2015
This is a coming of age story (this is probably my favourite genre to write—I’m sure you can probably tell).

At 18 Christopher is restless and desperate for his life to begin. Up until now he has lead a very sheltered existence, living on a canal boat with only his dad and his younger brother, Jay, for company. When their mother disappeared out of their lives years ago it devastated all three of them. But when they return to Arlow, a town they haven’t been to in over ten years, everything changes.
Unimpressed by his initial sexual experiences, and despite desperately trying not to, Christopher finds himself falling helplessly in love with an older man. But little does he know he’s falling for the one person who holds the key to why their mother vanished all those years ago.
And when long buried secrets finally come to the surface, more than just innocence will be lost in their wake.

About sukifleet

Suki Fleet currently lives in the heart of England. Her childhood was quite unconventional and she spent some time living on a boat and travelling at sea with her family. Since she was very small she has always dreamed of writing for a living, but though she has written original fiction online for years and encouraged many new writers to keep going and follow their author dreams, it is only recently she got the courage to make her own dream a reality and actually send something off to a publisher. By day she runs her own business selling fabric (her second love) and juggling family commitments, by night she weaves the stories that the characters in her head dictate. These stories often start with pain or longing but always end with love.
